More about me...

Every experience I've had — from the fast pace of early-stage startups to over 12 years in management consulting — has enabled me to do what I love most, and what I've spent over a decade doing: coaching and developing leaders.

Seven-plus years ago, my family and I made a lifelong dream real and left San Francisco for Aotearoa New Zealand. Wellington is truly home now — we made it official last year and became citizens.

My family is my motivation: my partner of over 20 years, Scott, and our three dynamic kids, Ernie, Ander, and Wynne. When I'm not working, you'll find me cooking up a storm to feed our friends, taking a long walk to recharge, picking up a new hobby (ukulele, currently), being a Muber (Mum Uber — iykyk), or soaking in one of the stunning views we're lucky to have here in abundance.

Some of my core beliefs...

My experience has taught me that growth in humans is very much like growth in the natural world.

Start with a vision.
You don't plant a seed expecting it to stay a seed. Every person already carries their own blueprint — I don't help people become someone else, I help them grow into what's already there.

Create the right conditions.
The best seed still won't take root in the wrong soil. So much of my work is less about pushing harder and more about examining the environment — the relationships, habits, and culture — around a person.

Grow as part of something.
Even the most personal growth doesn't happen alone — it's shaped by the people and connection around you. I believe in the power of community and relationship in this work, not just individual effort.

Prune with courage.
Cutting back what no longer serves growth — a habit, a belief, a boundary you finally set — isn't the opposite of growth. It's what makes room for it.

Trust the dormant seasons.
Seeds need a fallow period before they can germinate. I don't treat plateaus or quiet periods as problems to fix — they're often exactly where the next stage is being prepared.

Roots before shoots.
Before any visible growth appears above ground, the real work is happening underground. I trust that process even when it isn't visible yet.

Crack your own shell.
A seed has to break open the very thing that once protected it to grow. The instinct that kept you safe can become what you have to outgrow — and that takes real courage.

Legacy takes root.
A mature plant scatters its own seeds. What grows in you finds its way into the people around you too. I measure my work not just by what changes in a person, but by what they go on to grow in others.
